Why Idem?
Over the past few years, our team has worked closely with seniors and caregivers, and has identified many needs in terms of autonomy support. Although many technological solutions are offered to seniors without cognitive impairment, very few tools are adapted to those living with cognitive impairment. Idem was founded to fill this need.
Our team
Idem was founded by the two co-founders of Eugeria: Valérie Larochelle, CEO, and Quoc Nguyen, geriatrician and medical expert. The team also has a programmer, a developer, a product and innovation coordinator and a user support advisor.
Mission
The mission of Idem is to create solutions to solve the combined and accentuated societal challenge of aging and the scarcity of workers in healthcare.
To achieve this, we design technological solutions at the service of the elderly to support their well-being, maximize their autonomy, relieve the burden of caregivers and assist health professionals with home support.
Innovation Lab
Within the Idem innovation lab, we carry out research and development activities in collaboration with caregivers and health care workers.
