How do Idem subscriptions work?

Idem subscriptions are designed to stay simple, flexible, and easy to manage, even as your situation evolves.

Only the main user can manage subscriptions. Everything is handled directly in the Idem app.

You can choose to subscribe:

  • Monthly, for maximum flexibility
  • Annually, and save the equivalent of one month

If your loved one’s needs change, you can add, switch, or cancel a subscription at any time.

The Idem Pill Dispenser is a connected device. To function properly, it needs an active subscription to stay connected to the Idem app and Idem Clock and share information reliably.

You can connect the Idem Clock to Wi-Fi at no additional cost — no subscription required.

If Wi-Fi isn’t available or reliable, the Idem Data Plan allows the clock to stay connected using mobile data.

In some environments, such as certain senior living facilities, public Wi-Fi networks may not be supported.

Only the main user can add a subscription.

  1. Open Home Settings. Tap the Settings icon (⚙️) in the top right.
  2. Tap Subscription.
  3. Tap Information, then Add a subscription.
  4. Choose what you want to add
    Select the services you want.
  5. Choose your subscription type. Pick Monthly or Annual (annual saves the equivalent of one month).
  6. Enter your payment details
    Add your payment information and confirm.
  7. You’re all set. Your subscription will be active right away (and you can manage or cancel it anytime from the app).

FAQs

I don't see the option to manage my subscription. Why?

Only the main user can add, change, or cancel a subscription. All subscription management is done directly in the Idem app. If you want to add a subscription, you need to contact the main user.

Can I change or cancel a subscription later?

Yes. You can add, switch, or cancel a subscription at any time from the Idem app.

Do I need a subscription to use Idem?

The basic Idem experience with the Idem Clock and the Idem app is always free.

Some features and devices, such as Idem Premium, the Pill Dispenser, or the Data Plan, require a subscription to work.

What’s the difference between monthly and annual billing?

With monthly billing, you pay month to month for maximum flexibility.


With annual billing, you pay once for the year and save the equivalent of one month.


Please note that all the services part of your subscription must use the same billing option (monthly or annual).

What happens to my billing date if I add another subscription?

If you already have a subscription and add a new one, you will be charged a prorated amount for the remaining time until your next billing date. After that, all your subscriptions will be billed and renewed on the same date

This helps keep billing simple, with one renewal date and one payment instead of multiple charges throughout the month.

You’ll see the updated billing details clearly in the Idem app before confirming the new subscription.
