How to connect the Idem Clock to the internet?

You can connect the Idem Clock to a Wi-Fi network at no additional cost, as long as a stable connection is available. There is no subscription required. However, if your loved one doesn’t have access to Wi-Fi, you can connect the Idem Clock via a mobile data plan provided by Idem, available through two different subscription options. At any time, from your Idem app, you can opt for a monthly or annual subscription.

The clock allows my 89-year-old mother, who has memory problems, to situate herself in time. We send her little messages, and she opens them with ease. All her appointments are recorded so she can see them. And a little note appears on the screen when it's one of our birthdays. Several family members have downloaded the app. My mother loves her clock.

An Amazing Tool

I had bought the clock to reduce my mother's anxiety. She's in the early stages of Alzheimer's and is always worried about forgetting something, and indeed sometimes forgets what day it is. It seems to have achieved its objective, and the fact that she only has to read the messages when she hears a ring makes life easier. What's more, it's easy to use for my sisters and me, and we can also send all sorts of reminders or messages to my father, for whom keeping track of appointments is becoming a difficult task. I would add that the numerous display options (times, display time, frequency, etc.), ring tones and the choice of whether or not to have a confirmation that the message has been read are particularly helpful. The greatest quality of this clock remains, in my opinion, that I can help my parents even if I live 2 hours away from them, and at a time that suits me, just as my sisters can.
